The Founder
Nitish Nag, MD, PhD
Nitish Nag, MD, PhD, bridges the gap between clinical health and artificial intelligence. Dr. Nag earned his medical degree from University of California, Irvine and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the UCI Institute for Future Health, specializing in AI theory to advance data-driven health.
He graduated summa cum laude from University of California, Berkeley with a triple major in Biochemistry, Nutritional Science, and Integrative Biology.
A competitive multi-discipline cyclist and outdoor athlete, Dr. Nag doesn't just prescribe protocols—he field-tests them.

Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance for our coaching or consultation fees. Insurance models are built around "sick care"—treating illness after it happens. Our model is built around proactive optimization and prevention, which insurance does not cover at this time. However, we work directly with you to have as many lab tests and medical interventions can often be covered by your insurance provider.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes, as long as you are over 18 years old. Performance health services often qualify for HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) usage if a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is provided. We can assist in providing the necessary documentation to justify the expense as a preventive health measure.
Is there an age requirement?
We work with motivated individuals of all ages above 7 years old. We have clients ranging from competitive students to executives in their 70s focused on cognitive longevity and mobility. The protocols are scaled and customized to your specific biological age and goals.
Do I need to be a professional athlete?
Not at all. While we work with many pros, many of our clients are "occupational athletes"— working professionals and parents who need to perform at a high level daily. If you are serious about self improvement and results, you are a perfect fit for Alpworx.
